Beijing, September 24, 2025 — Colchis was proud to participate in the 2025 International Field Exploration and Development Conference (IFEDC), held in Beijing. With representatives from over 30 countries and more than 1,000 technical presentations, IFEDC has once again proven to be a leading global platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and collaboration in the energy sector.

At the exhibition, Colchis highlighted its innovative software portfolio and integrated consulting services, drawing strong interest from industry professionals and academic experts. Featured solutions included:

Colchis experts actively joined discussions across multiple sub-forums. Mr. Ming Zhiliang, CTO of Colchis, delivered a presentation at the Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) forum, where he shared the application of integrated geophysical forward modeling in quantitative CO₂ monitoring. The study, based on the Sleipner Field’s Utsira Formation, demonstrated how ColchisFM combines rock physics and seismic forward modeling to enhance dynamic monitoring of CO₂ migration, providing a more precise solution for carbon storage. This work was recognized with the Outstanding Paper Award at the conference.
