The EAGE Annual 2026 Conference and Exhibition has successfully concluded, marking three productive and inspiring days for Colchis Petroconsulting and the ColchisFM team.

Throughout the event, the Colchis booth welcomed a steady stream of geophysicists, geologists, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world. The exhibition provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, discussing subsurface challenges, and exploring innovative approaches to seismic interpretation and forward modeling.

One of the highlights of the event was the launch of the ColchisFM 5-Minute Modeling Challenge, an interactive hands-on activity designed to demonstrate the speed and simplicity of building geological models with ColchisFM. Participants were invited to create and visualize models within just five minutes, experiencing firsthand how efficiently complex subsurface scenarios can be constructed and analyzed.

The challenge quickly became one of the most popular attractions at the booth. Visitors from various technical backgrounds enthusiastically participated, testing workflows, comparing modeling approaches, and sharing valuable feedback with the development team. The activity generated lively discussions and showcased how intuitive forward modeling can accelerate interpretation workflows and support better geological understanding.

The overwhelmingly positive response received during the conference reinforces the growing interest in practical and efficient forward modeling solutions. It also highlights the important role that interactive technology demonstrations play in bridging the gap between geophysical theory and real-world application.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth, took part in the challenge, and shared their enthusiasm for forward modeling. We look forward to continuing the conversations and seeing you again at future industry events.
