From April 13 to 15, Colchis participated in the 4th China Petroleum Geophysical Conference held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu. The event brought together leading experts and professionals to explore innovative, efficient, and intelligent geophysical technologies for advancing complex oil and gas exploration.

During the conference, Colchis presented its latest technologies and solutions, engaging in in-depth discussions with industry experts and peers. A dedicated hands-on demonstration area was set up, allowing visitors to experience the workflow and usability of ColchisFM through guided sessions.

A highlight of the event was the ColchisFM 5-Minute Forward Modeling Challenge, designed to showcase the software’s efficiency and ease of use. More than 40 geophysics professionals participated, with the winning record reaching an impressive 1 minute and 45 seconds.

ColchisFM is an integrated reservoir geophysics forward modeling solution developed by Colchis, bridging rock physics and seismic forward modeling into a unified workflow. It supports both pre-stack and post-stack modeling, enabling applications such as reservoir characterization, time-lapse seismic studies, velocity modeling, and depth conversion.
